  1. Is this the same McKee marsh where they uncovered Wooly Mammoth?! Great area for birding I read somewhere. Lucky for you :)

    • Yes, there was a wooly mammoth skeleton discovered there back in the 1970′s. McKee Marsh is part of the Blackwell Forest Preserve located in DuPage County, IL. It’s a very good spot for birding one of the better ones in the area and it’s usually not very busy.
